I’ve been designing since 2004, when I graduated with a BA Hons in Illustration from the University of Portsmouth.
I now work from home on the south coast of England using a modified Victorian mangle to create my prints.
My work is inspired by my garden and the birds that inhabit the hedgerow at the back of it. I like to grow lots of plants and flowers for pollinating insects.
Words make me create, song lyrics, poetry, and books and articles about the environment. The delicate and intricate shapes and colours of vintage china, beautiful gardens, bluebell woods, wildflower meadows and nature reserves are all inspiring.
